Of course that will buff out !
Some cars now have metal foam bumpers. My school [ Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn originally ]]has developed one using hollow steel spheres in a matrix of aluminum.Absorbs lots of energy in a collision ! Should work for bird strikes !
