First SpaceX Mission To Ferry Astronauts To International Space Station Set For June 2019
NASA expects the first manned SpaceX mission to the International Space Station to happen in June 2019.

I remember reading a science fiction short story that described exactly this problem. The US had given up building rockets and our astronauts were hitching rides with the Rooskies. Story was written about the time Skylab was coming to an end and the Space Shuttle was getting blow back from Congress.

TCLouisIf we used something cheaper than the Shuttle what would it cost us for a round trip.
How about if we used the shuttle to do the trip?
