Is there a date on that photo?

It's a kinda narrow swathe of time, because the Big E only entered service in May '38 and those TBD were wearing a different paint scheme not too long thereafter.

I thought that the photo was pre war from the (aluminum) or lack of any paint skeam on the planes.
