Wow, I haven't heard Bob Hoover's name in 15 years I would bet. Is he still alive?

I remember stories about him in his Commander, pouring a glass of water as he rolled it, but this is the first time I have seen it on video.

What an absolute bad ass. A lot of stuff in this video I didn't know about him.

Bob did his routine at least a couple of summers at our now-defunct airshow at the Medford, OR, airport. The guy has fabulous reflexes and nerves of absolute steel.
Believe it or not, United Airlines got its start in our little town thanks to a guy named Seely Hall.
