Started in August of last year. After a 2 hr checkride I'm all finished, for now. Hasn't really set in yet. Ranks right up there with the birth of my two girls and getting married!

HUGE congrats!!!! I'm very envious!
I'll be there in a month or so, just need to study more and get that damned written out of the way. I started in Oct and was beginning to think I was dragging it out a bit but based on your timeline it looks like I'm right on track!

Where are you located, btw?

Regards,
Scott

Congratulations! Thats a happy day! Any plans on moving on to an instrument rating? Even if you don't go for the check ride, the training will be helpful.

My examiner on the instrument check ride told me, "You passed. That doesn't necessarily mean you know what you doing. All this license does is allow you to learn on your own, without an instructor, how to fly instrument."

True statement.

Congratulations.
