Space X Launch 22 Feb
The SpaceX launch out of Vandenberg AFB carrying a Spanish Satellite and a couple of other small satellites taken from our back lot in Bakersfield CA this morning at 6:17 AM. Not as dramatic as the evening launch last December but fun to watch.

On May 5th, the Air Force is launching an Atlas V at 4 AM, with a new Mars Rover, that will be great.

SpaceX seems to be a going concern, though I am not wquite sure how they fit in the launching picture.
Time to let Duckduckgo.com find me some information about how space is run now

I'm 150 miles due east and the flight path is south so we don't hear it here. I grew up in Lompoc, CA which is 10 miles from the launch sites and the Atlas V launches would regularly wake us up.
