I wonder what caused the cannon to malfunction?

I shared that with a friend and he questioned whether the cannon fired out of battery.
Seems possible considering the damage to the aircraft.
Once again that titanium seat protection may have saved a pilots life.

Wonder if one can locate/access the Air Force's Accident/incident findings or if they are available to non AF personnel.

Surely with all the blue suiters here we can track that down.
