BradGiven 727's and 707's, I'd bet 70's or no later than 1980's...

BradI remember coming in late to JFK one night... I can't remember where I was coming from, or where I was going to, but we parked next to a Concorde fresh in from London or Paris. What struck me was how incredibly small the Concord truly was. Tiny relative to the L1011 I was on.

DuggaBoyevery memorable moment
Oshkosh -'94 IIRC-
I was getting a demo ride in a Scorpion helo-
we were off the north side of 27 about 1/3 in pointed east lifting off , (with clearance) when the Concorde made its appearance -
earlier than scheduled-
looked up to see a windscreen full of Praying Mantis barreling in on us-
we immediately sat right down-
Just as we touched down tower advised to cancel take-off-
the vortices even on the ground nearly upended us--
