For Sale Ruger No. 1 Lipseys 6.5 Creedmoor
I’ve reached that point in life when folks begin to clear out some of their collection that is unlikely to see much future use. This is a Ruger No. 1 Lipseys run from 2016 or 2017. I purchased it new in 2017. It has a 1B style forend, no iron sights, and a 28” barrel. Lipseys had specified the longer 28” barrel on this edition. I don’t recall how many of these were made for the run, but it has not been a regular catalog item. The wood on this rifle has visually striking horizontal contrasting streaks, which reminds my of French walnut. I don’t know if that’s what it is, as the specifications did not indicate it was French as best I can recall. The rifle has a Jard trigger, which provides an excellent, crisp break. There are no other modifications. The Ruger scope rings will be included. The rifle has proven very accurate with Hornady factory 140, 143 and 147 ammunition. It also does well with the 127 Barnes LRX. The original box and paperwork will be included. Loading components (brass and bullets will be offered at a low price to the buyer.

I have numerous larger, good pictures available to text if you're interested. I managed to post these two for a quick view.

Price is $1949 shipped from my FFL to yours in the US. If someone from Hawaii is interested let’s discuss shipping costs as I expect that would be more expensive. I’m happy to answer any questions.
Jeff

I was watching a YOUTUBE video on Zambia plains game hunt using the 6.5 Creedmooor. It was slapping down Lechewe, and Sitatunga left and right, all one shot kills!!
Great Cartridge!!

I think this Rifle would be an effective and classic choice for such an adventure! I wouldn’t stretch it up to large animals, of course, but for that size game, very good.
