I have a barreled action in 458wm. It started as a Mark X in 7mmRM. Dennis Olson added an Obendorf style bolthandle, a square bridge with intergral peep sight, a 22.5" .458 barrel in medium contour, a barrel mounted recoil lug, barrel mounted sling mount, NECG banded front sight, 3 pos Dakota safety and the action was surface ground. It is blued and complete except for a stock.

The only problem is that it is in the lower 48(in a family member's safe) and I am all the way up here in Barrow. I should be down there in a few weeks if you aren't in too much of a hurry.

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

One of these Zastava M70s from these guys would work: Zastava M70

They sold a bunch of them over the past few months. It is a standard Mauser-controlled feed. I have one in 30-06 with the double set triggers that is going off to JES Reboring to make into a 338-06. The actions could use some polishing but the price is right at $379.

Good luck
