Granite Mountain Arms - LH - Actions - For Sale
Greetings,

I have two Granite Mountain Arms, Left Hand, actions for sale. Bought them thinking I was going to build, but then realized my current builds will suffice.

One action is the “African Magnum” length, the other is a “Standard Magnum” length. These are both left hand, have sat for years, and are in need of a good future build.

More than happy to send photos to anyone interested, answer any questions, ask away.

Looking to get what I have into them, asking $2,000.00 for each action.

Thank you for looking.

Colmacivor-

Congratulations. Mike (the founder) was a business associate of mine. He had other business's that mine did business with.

I had the occasion to visit his shop several times. Impressive actions.

I'd love to have owned these as I'm a lefty as well.

Mike brought a handful of rifles to a SCI shoot we had many years ago. I shot the 585GMA...handful.

Yes it was a good price esp for left hand actions with no wait..That why I said I will take them..Understood he wanted to get his investment back and I need a couple of actions..Hope we all are happy with the deal..I hope my I will take it and his response is enough to keep this from becoming Proxibid..JM

Help,....Does anyone know Jason? I received a PVT message from Jason acknowledging my "I will take them" and asking me if I still wanted any pictures...I said no that I was familiar with the actions and where should I send the funds...Have not heard from him since. I hope everything is fine with him and his family but I don't want to owe someone that much money because of a communication problem. I have sent him my home # etc and have not heard from since Aug 29th. If anyone Knows 493 (Jason) Please have him contact me..Thanks for your time..John

Even if he found out the current price is about + 30% does not mean that he would leave me hanging esp considering he just wanted to get his $ back and I sent wood out to be duplicated for these actions..Whatever, he still should answer my e-mails..jm

This is just my personal opinion. The GMA actions were $3500.00 per over 15 years ago. I would not be surprised if they are north of $4k today. That’s with a waiting time let’s say 6 months. The owner obviously was not aware of the current price. I am sure some would take a small loss and complete the transaction committment. Not many are willing to take a bath at the offered price. If you really want the actions, offer the owner a more amicable price. Let’s say $6500 and see if he will respond and go for it. It’s still a good deal for both of you. I highly recommend stopping the inletting work until the actions are in your hands. Otherwise things will sour and neither of you need the anguish. Best of luck to both of you and hope things work out fairly to both.

I called GM in PX and the current price is $3200..I purchassed 2 GM 2yr ago and built a 500 Jeffery and a 416 Rigby..Got the actions for $2000 and $2350..in the white..Reguardless if someone says $2000 each and Someone says I will take it and they agree with with the sale..I think they should answer an e-mail even if they they have a change of heart. Right now I have no Idea if Jason had a back-door call/bid or He has had a personal problem and can't get back at this time..

I guess I will withdraw my "I will take it" and Jason's "acceptance".. Have not heard anything since my second post.. and will proceed to other projects. JM
