sika stalking in ireland
we have some places available for this season , stags and hinds .

The ground is a mix of hill and forest .The stalking of sika on the hill is second to none .
The forest and forest edges can be hunted on foot or from one of the many high seats.
the hunting area is vast and can cater to all fitness levels.
please feel free to pm me for more information .

thank you john.

John,

Are you in the Wicklow area? (Not quite south east I know.) I'm in that neck of the woods on a monthly basis and would like to come and have a go if time allows during a trip.

Cumbrian
Sally Gap...

Now that brings back many memories....

Heather clad hills, commercial plantations, Blessington, Poulaphouca Reservoir, Paddy Murphys pub in Ballymore Eustace, etc, etc.

The ROI has to be one of the friendliest places to go stalking, most landowners are only to happy to see lads who will have a go at the deer.

Awesome deer population over there - hunted some years back and took this fellow at very last light.

Now, my guide that evening took a fancy to the Petzl head torch I used for the gralloch. So much so, I left it with him.

Met up at the CLA (?) some years later and he still had it in his pocket!

Was his name John? My memory is getting really bad nowadays! Smiler

Too true, I can't remember the amount of times I've been 'beeped' at by unseen hinds on a 'sure thing' stalk!
