Another of my favourite fleece shirts is one I got from Cabelas some years back. It combines fleece with a windstopper membrane, so it is not as quiet as a pure fleece shirt. But it is a godsend when the wind is up, and I usually wear it under some outer layers, so noise is not so much of an issue.

Hey Mike, is the shirt you have the same one in the link I posted?......DJ

I can wholeheartedly recommend Swazi. I have a number of their things. I really like the micro tops. I also have:
the Wapiti Coat. (totally rain proof but a wee bit noisy).
Chamois Coat.(The ultimate hunting jacket for chilly and cold with up to a down pour of rain repellant)
The Wind Cheatah (a great shirt to wear under or for cool days)
and a couple of the pro hunter shirts. (my favorite casual shirt)

Sorry this is a bit late but I purchased some Swazi shirts just before you started this thread and I didn`t want to comment until I`d properly field tested them
The outcome is that I`ve never taken them off.The heavyweight shirts are warm enough to wear without a coat and wash extremely well.
Certainly the best value for money I`ve seen

I´m always looking around for light, warm garments as I´m one of the guys who always get frosty sitting there waiting for the stag to materialise in the dusk.

Pete EGents,
On the strength of the various recommendations from here, I ordered two Pro-Hunter Shirts from Swazi and I am really impressed with them..They are quite a bit thicker than Britishmade fleece shirt I already had and they seem to wash really well too.
I ordered mine from:
http://www.outdoorsupplies.co.nz/swazi2.htm#tops about 10 days before Christmas and they arrived on Christmas Eve which I thought was very good all things considered...Next on the list will be some windproof fleece trousers..
Regards,
Pete
