GhubertWell done mate!
Those NI fallow look darker than one ( big sample I know....) I got, is just wet or are they generally darker?

Claret_DabblerThere seems to be a high percentage of dark fallow in that area.
Where I stalk in north Antrim the Fallow are generally the light colour version. I have actually shot two white fallow in the glens.

BoghossianNice animal!
Can you tell us a bit about the state of stalking in N.I.? Is it very commercialised or quite informal?
Are deer still spreading?
Cheers

308matewell Bog, Yes and No is the answer. there are still the big Estates that charge a small fortune just for taking you for a walk with a rifle!! but most people I know that stalk do it on privite farmland were very litle if any money changes hands. myself and 4 others pay for the shooting rights of about 3000 acres. nd we have found the land owners in the area are more than happy for us to shoot on there aswell. I have been on the groubd for 3 years and already this year have seen alot more deer than before (including Sika that I hav'nt seen before)
