Can any one tell me how to go about getting what ever I need to take a rifle to France? I'm going hunting boar there in october. Thanks.

You need to apply to your local licensing authority / constabulary. Send them a passport photo and your FAC, ask them to issue a "Europass". Should be free.

No idea what you need on the French end, your host should sort this out.
