MarioWe have not talked about Wisent in a while, anyone shot one of late?
sorry London, I've missed the post.
No any charge. In my experience all the buffaloes run away very fast after the shot or have fallen down almost immediately. I was lucky? I dont know. Maybe a charge would have been a nice experience

I have spoken and met with over 20 hunters now concerning buffalo species and their variants.
Prior to late 1980's when rhino hunting was still possible, cape buffalo hunting was treated like another plains game species or as pest in some countries.
When RHino hunting was stopped, suddenly over a few years myths started to build about the infamous buffalo charge and with the launch of MS's death rush everybody is talking about shooting a cape or its variants
as being one of the ultimate hunt.
Well my conclusion is that there are very very few people who has ever experience a charge. It just does not happen.
If you corner a injured rabbit it will charge once in a blue moon.
I think the WISENT is really for the retired hunter and who wants a nice piece of furniture.

Marioyes you have some reasons. But the cape buffalo is always unpredictable. Hi must not ever be underestimated.
