I´m not sure, but they are all orginating from American mink that once upon the time escaped from mink fur farms.
They have infested most of the coastline and are real killers regarding seabirds, and eiders in particular.
We can hunt them year around, and those I have taken this summer are most likely this years litters, they looks a bit small to me?
Got another one at our small craft harbour this evening as well.
It was swimming across to the breakwater and quietly dissapered from the surface.... properly weighted down by leadshots...ooops I mean tungsten shots (lead are banned in Norway)
