To remove blood etc you simply hose it off. The fabric is that woven synthetic stuff that bulk sand comes in. It does not absorb fluids.

I drag things with a bit of rope and a stick as I can let go quick if gravity takes over and things get out of control. Those harnesses look a bit iffy if you ask me.

Many thanks for your offer. I'll see what I can find this week and if I get stuck I'll let you know. Most of my stalking is Roe and Fallow so the feed trough should do the trick nicely.

Have you considered using one of those plastic drums (45gallon?) cut in half length ways? You need to bolt or pop rivet a couple wooden "feet" to the outside of each end to stop rolling, but they work very well...

If you prefer the "feed trough" I am using but can't get one locally or they are expensive, let me know and I will see if they are available up here still...I get down to your part of the world from time to time so I am sure I could drop it off...
