Thought I'd post this here as a lot of UK hunters post here. I was wonderin do any of you know if there is a store in the airport that sells cell-mobile phones. Can't find anythin listed on the airport website.

I've flown through Manchester countless times, Actually I cannot remember because I wasn't in the market for a phone.

It's not a huge Airport but I would imagine they do enough International business to sell Cellular Phones there.

If it' not pressing I can e-mail an associate who flys in/out of Manchester often.

I fly through Manchester two or three times per year. I do not remember seeing a store selling phones. I do know that the car rental companies at the airport will rent you a phone (I have done this a time or two before the tri band phones became common).

Just FYI, if you have a US cell phone that is tri band, it could work in the UK. I know my Motorolla V551 phone works in UK.
