Thanks for posting - a great looking Buck!
My respects to your father. I hope I will still be in the fields chasing the Capriolo when the years finally catch up!

Pete EMario,
For some reason the link to photobucket seems to be broken...
I've tried to fix it, but can't even find the original picture, although from Ian's comments it must have worked at one point...
Regards,
Pete

Nice buck, how far south do Roe go in Italy?
I lived in Sicily and looked for wildlife all the time. I never saw anything other than fox, rabbits, and wildboar. And wildboar were pretty darn rare.

MarioD99,
for find a very good amount of game you must go to the Tuscany and Emilia Romagna ( I hunt in the province of Parma and Modena.) In some places ther'are more Roe Deer that you can imagine like the crows and Fallow and Wild Boar.
You can shoot a good buck for 500 Euro and Boar too. In my opinion the best fun is in winter Jan-Feb until 10 of March when you hunt the calves. If you want you can come with me one time. I will find a Roe female for you for 300 Euros.
I know that in Sicily ther'is only a private reservation where you can hunt Fallow and Boar but is a fenced area.
