lorefumaCantabrian chamois and Leon (Spain) information pleas!
I'm a Italian veterinarian student.
From September 2009, and for a year, I have to go in Leon (Spain) for study whit the UE student exchange program ERASMUS.
I'm looking for any information about cantabrian chamois and cantabrian chamois hunting, and if possible some contact of local hunter, hunting clubs and hunting reserve, for my study.
If someone can help whit this please send me a mail.
thanks

AlbertoLorenzo, cantabrian and asturian chamois is a very nice, difficult and expensive hunt. In Leon you can ask for information to the Conserjeria del Medio ambiente de Castilla y León and to the Reserva Regional de Riaño.
Good luck.

lorefumathanks!
i have some experience whit collecting scientific data and samples from alpine chamois, and my idea is a comparative study between cantabrian and alpine species. You know a way for contact the reserva de Riaño? I haven't found e-mail or any adress on the net...
