David CulpepperAthina Hunting Tours
I am looking at doing a muntjac/roe deer hunt with Athina Hunting Tours and have had one person recommend them. Was wondering what anyone else experience was with them?
Thanks

You'll be in very good hands.
Kiri is highly professional, knows his business, is as honest as the day is long and is a great guy to boot.

David,
Now you've got three positive reco's - go for it; you will
not be disappointed - you'll wonder why it all comes together with Kiri? It's because when Kiri takes you hunting it's like he's taking himself out and having alot of fun at it, too. You're just the lucky reccipiant of his attentions.
I've hunted with Kiri both professionally & personally (many, many times) and
only once did I depart a stand/stalk without a Deer, either Roe, Muntjac, or Fallow and not to mention the countless Pigeons & Rabbits we've whalloped together, too.

You mean he has dumped his beloved 260 ?
No wonder there are so many hopping deers about in Sussex

David CulpepperThanks everyone.
I have booked a hunt with them and will be arriving on 8/10/13 only doing a 3 day hunt so will be leaving 8/14/13. If any of you are in the area of Suffolk at that time I would love to meet you.

Good Hunting,

swsI'm in Suffolk and should be about at that time.
Most of the muntjac are going to be in velvet or without antlers at that time of the year though. Plus high cover in the summer makes it tricky to see them.
All the best with your hunt. Its a lovely part of the world.

Trapper DaveI've hunted and shot with him both in the UK and SA and had a great deal of fun and sport.
I've also shot a couple of AR Weekends with him too. He attracts the sort of shooting fraternity you'd be happy to be amongst.
I think you'll find him great value and good company.

IanFI will echo the positive references you have already received here!
You will have a great time, hunting with a bloke who is a larger than life character and a sportsman through & through.
Good call - you are going to have a trip to remember!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. You nearly made me
Blush.
Ben,
I'd never drop my beloved 260. Although I do have a mistress now in the form of my 375 if I want to play rough..

the only reason there are so many deer hopping about in Sussex is because I don't have enough time to get out and shoot them.
David, I look forward to hunting with you. Even though Adam is hosting you I think this will be a good reason for me to come up and shoot a couple of roe bucks myself and perhaps share a glass of red wine if you are that way inclined...?

David CulpepperKiri,
I am really looking forward to the trip, this will be my first time in Europe. Will be getting my plane ticket later today and now I just have to wait out the 7 months. I don't drink wine but a cold beer or two would be great.
