kokdyerSweden for Capercalie
What do you guys think about hunting Caper in Sweden this fall? I am really considering it. I was thinking about going to Russia because of the low price, but they hunt them during the Spring when the birds are molting. I don't know how a trophy would turn out.
Also do you know anyone in Europe that is a reliable bird taxidermist.
I do all my own shoulder mounts, but have no experience with birds.

WachtelThere are many places in Sweden (best in the northern parts) where you can buy a small game license for capercaillie. There are also good taxidermists locally so that shouldn't be a problem. The season starts on Aug 25.
