Two older shotguns
Friends...
A buddy of mine are selling among other things two older shotguns after his late father.

I know very little about them other than a short description so far.
But if they are in a resonable state I might buy one or both.

First of all I like to know what you think of these guns regarding general quality and pricelevel.

The first one is a R.Roper & Son, Sheffield.
Side by side with splinter forend and English grip and naturally two triggers.

The second one is a SS, Sauer Suhl, double trigger and pistol grip.

I presume the caliber in both are 12 guage, but have not been able to talk to him to get more information so far.
So that is all I have for the moment.

Can you enlighten me a little bit about this two guns?

The R Roper will I suspect turn out to be a Birmingham trade produced shotgun with the retailers name on it.
I doubt if it would achieve much in auction.

Talk to Diggory. There isn't much he doesn't know about old English guns.
