Desculpa mim. I forgot to congratulate You. It�s really unbelievalbe. I cannot image that such a paradise still exists. We have a plains territory, 1000 ha, 1500 acres. Here is living 100 hares, 20 partridges and less than 10 pheasants.We did our best to improve it with atrocious vermin extermination, no way. I think the small game cannot live on grass and corn only. Please guard your region against the news farmers and Europe as well.

Would be very interested where exactly that exclusive hunt were.

My idea would be Burgenland, around the Neusiedler Lake. On any "Exclusive" hunt beware of "Kistelfasane" ( Pheasants raised in farms and released just before the hunt. They hardly know to fly!

I hunt in a small area with really good game ( Niederwild ) population. There are not many foreigners there, some Viennese, if they are invited for some reason. There are still hunts, where a 1000 pieces of game ( hare and pheasant ) are taken.

The hunts belongs in most cases to hunting parties consisting mainly of land owners ( Farmers ). One reason there is so little chance for foreigners to hunt in Austria: we know, how beatiful it is, some of the finest hunting in the world! So we do most of it ourselves! ;-))

On Saturday my friend Willi was not here for the Sankt Hubertus Treibjagd in Elsass. I was told he was in a very exclusive pheasant hunt not far from Wien.
Were You with my friend Willi? The one who hunts in Neuwiller in Alsace.. and Scotland and Namibia..
