My grandfather hunted Reindeer and Roe deer till he was 82-83.
His son(my father) is 71 and he still hunts a bit, but he is not as eager as my grandfather was and not close to how eager I am at hunting at all Smiler

Sadly I don't have any digital photos of my grandfather since he died some years ago now.

I've had several clients come to Africa that were in their seventies or close to.

They are always very chilled out about their hunting too. Great fun to be with.

I releived a 80 year old hunter that died the day before I got to Namibia in 2005.

Died with his boots on, something to be said for that.

Dig mentioned that while watching the ladies tennis during the olympics, his friend made an interesting observation.

He figured it was bad when the girls made the same noise on their serve as he made when trying to get out of an armchair....

I raise my glass to the guys still hunting in their eighties.

Here is a scanned copy of a picture taken many years ago.
It is of my Grandfather and me on a Red deer and Moose hunt.
We had to carry out the Moose cow in parts as it was only my grandfather, my father and I hunting and I shot the Moose cow in a remote area.

My grandfather was 81 years then and I miss hunting and fishing with him very much.

I have few regular clients over 75 every year and they are tough, great fun and determined. Old school boys.
Two of them are in my video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...index=1&feature=plcp
