Hugh WOff Topic: Fox Hunting in Britain
Sorry for being a little off topic. As hunters we need to be aware of all that is going on around us. Today marked an loss for us. The Brits banned fox hunting! A tradition for hundreds of years. I forget the regular posters name, but his penline reads something to the effect of " Forget about your rights and they are will go away forever." Pause for reflection.

fnmauserThe hunters need to introduce some Coyotes. That will cure the people of their love for fuzzy cute animals. After a yote kills their dog in front of them a and eats a calving cow alive and ALL their cats go missing everyone in suburbia will be ready for the hunters to return. FNMauser

mhoYes, it is indeed a sad day. A thousand year old tradition outlawed because people these days only connect to nature via the Discovery Channel.

IanFFolks.
Mass protests today (saturday)all over the UK - the law is unworkable and pretty much un-enforceable by the Police.
To show this, there are going to be hundreds of 'Meets' where 'ex' hunters dress as they always have, to take out their hounds for 'excercise'. Any foxes flushed will be shot inline with the new legislation.
The expectation is that fox numbers taken are likely to increase by 90% under this method......surely the end result the anti hunters were hoping for? Unless the legislation is purely class orientated as opposed to being humanitarian!!
What do you think?
