FinnlightThat's right.
Sako recalled some stainless Sako and Tikka T3 rifles because of the material failure.
At least here in Finland those who own that kind of rifle with material failure got the recall letter from Sako.
Last week I called Sako and asked, if I should be worried about my stainless Tikka, but they said, that there is not so many guns, that have that material failure mentioned and all of them had got the recall letter already. So if I didn't got the letter, my rifle is safe to use.

If you have a look at the Benchrest Central Forum and go to the Factory / Hybrid Rifles section, have a look at the discussion marked Sako Blow Up. There are quite clear photographs and interesting discussion on the reasons why this particular failure has happened (stainless Sako 75). It is amazing that the person behind the trigger wasn't killed. It isnt clear what the cause was as I type but it is a spectacular failure to say the least!
