Richard Prior's annual review of trophies presented for measuring was published in the Shooting Times today.

Amongst the trophies recorded was a red stag from Yorkshire which provisionally scored 233.4 CIC points and this beats the famous Endsleigh stag by about 10 points.

It needs to be checked and verified but if the score is upheld it will be a record.

A new record wild boar from Herefordshire was also recorded.
