<raindeer>Re: Export permit from Germany?
Kettner and Frankonia have export services.
I do not know about importregulations in Finland, but I have bought several guns, rifles and parts in Germany. When shown a valid import permit, any German gunshop will sell you and hand over whatever you want.

Grizzly AdamsHello;
The status of Kettner is unclear, since they are apparently re-organising after going tits up and Frankonia doesn't ship outside Germany anynore.

Daniel MBoha I have some experience importing rifles from Germany , and should be no problem at all , if you see Kein International versand comunicate with the dealer as some times International means the owner dealer don't want to export to Colombia , Nicaragua or Pakistan but OK with a EU memeber state , the procedure it the same for all the EU inside transactions of guns , if you want to buy a rifle from germany you need to made a " Consentimiento previo " ( in Spanish ) or previous agreement to the transfer you need to know name and address of the dealer , manufacturer caliber serial number of the gun apply with these in your police ( document in Ap 4 art. 11 EU dir. 91/477/CEE ), when you get it signed by police send by fax or mail to the german part and with these paper he can do the export part of the same document , then he can send by certificaste mail the gun to the address in the documents and you can register in Finland .
Saludos
Daniel

bohaThank you all. The prior consent thing I am familiar with, and thats no problem. It seems the export from Germany(inside the Eu) should not be too complicated either.

ErikDI bought one rifle from Germany this last spring, and it was no trouble getting it sent to Norway. I seem to recall that the exporter (Prechtl) just had to send some in a few papers, waited a couple of weeks, and that was it. FWIW.
