OLA!!!
Well it's all legal now. I've got some quick internet acces here in Mauritius so I thought I'd drop a quick line.

We had the 2 weddings last week, (thursday was the legal ceremony and Saturday was the religious one)

The thursday ceremony was at 1pm and at 11am I was 10 miles offshore chasing these little fellas... this one was about 18lbs and aboput half the average size for the A;bacore we usually get.

Tomorrow I'm off after Yellowfins and 50lb GT's and Blue Kingfish. Big Grin

Hey there!

Great to hear that you survived the festivities - enjoy Mauritius, I had a lovely four years out there! Great choice of destination. I'm guessing that E is loving it and turning brown.

Rgds from all your smoking friends! Be seeing you soon!

Hi mate,

No I diodn't drool all over her on your behalf, as we have both been ill over here!! The pair of us with chest and hroat infections on antibiotices for the last week!!

I finfish mine today and Elaine is already done with hers, (although she's been roombound with severe food poisoning from an excusion lunch!!).

however after this week the goodnews is that she's sick of me bothering her so she suggested I go fishing for the last few days!! The GT's weren't in evidence as the seas were hugelast week but I've found a skipper that will take me out to a reef about 10miles offshore where we can cast at Bonito, Dorado and Yellowfins, so I'm still hoping for that iggie on the fly!! To date this is the best I've managed on the fly out here.

You can imagine what Elaine said when she asked me what type of fish it is and I replied it was a Giant Trevally....

Ian,
is there anywhere you haven't been to? I can see how you would have liked it as they are hunting crazy over here and I was having lunch watching the wild boar the other day!! I enquired as to trophy fees and was told that i'm looking at £1500 for an average stag... I bet the locals don't pay that kind of money!!

Laters,
K

Which one is the bait?

Sorry to hear about throats.vomo etc.

Console yourself with the thought that the day of fishing that you missed on the Test was spent in pouring (and I do mean pouring) rain all day. 2 Grayling, 1 good Trout for 8 hours of fishing. Even the trout thought it was too wet to bother!

Love to Elaine and have a lovely time with what is left....see you all too soon.
