reddy375Gun shops in Austria and Germany??
A friend of mine will be in Vienna, Salzburg and Munich. He is looking to buy some 450/400 ammo, can anyone recommend a store that would stock this ammunition. Thanks in advance for your help.

Big Bore Fan450/400 ammo? In Germany? In Munich?
Good luck!
Other question. Does this friend have a permit to buy ammo in Germany? This will be very important.
Martin
I lived in Spain and Italy, not Germany or Austria.
I would doubt that he could even handle ammo without first showing the EU gun permit or German or Austrian Jagdschein.
But then again, who knows.
450/400 ammo is cheaper in America, all ammo is.
Even RWS is cheaper in America.

EU gun permit
The EU permit is only a piece of paper. In Germany you cann´t buy guns or ammo with it. I, as gun dealer, need a German "Jagdschein" or a other
German permit for buying ammo or guns.

Big Bore FanThere´re a few gun shops in munich.
At the Qlympia shooting range is the Wirnhier store. In munich, at the Maximiliansplatz is the Waffen-Frankonia. In Pasing, Spiegelstr. 1, Waffen Oberhammer.
All other are more than 20km away.
You do practice in Garching. Is it for the ISSF WM this year?

londonhunterThank you for the tips I will try and get to those stores in between rounds
Yes I am participating in the ISSF 2010 WC
Are you far from the Olympic Range ?
Possbile to drop by for a drink
Please PM fro contact details
I have spoken to Mr Wirnhier over the last few weeks.
I did not know he has a gun store !
I hope to pick up some cheaper Blaser accessories thats all
They are not a licence parts.
I do have a soft spot for any stutzens despite what a lot of peeple say about their accuracy.
You mention you are a gun dealer
Anything you specialise in ?
Good shooting
I lived in Austria for a few years and I only saw ammo in the classic British calibers one time, and I believe that was at Waffen Springer in Vienna (and I don't remember the calibers they had). I have a serious weakness for metric calibers, so I was in heaven over there. The British calibers seemed to be quite rare there.
