Ooh nifty, might just be the "best" of the lot, certainly the most interesting and unusual! Weidmannsheil!

roebuck222Top result!!,
nice beasts, what were you using? and if I can be so impertinent, was the stalking gratis or paid.if so what is the going rate in your area?
good luck in Africa
Roebuck222
Steyr-Mannlicher .243, Schmidt & Bender 6x42 using home loaded ammunition with Speer 100gr boat tail soft points at about 2840 fps.
I wish it was free, but alas my circle of friends does not extend to owners of such fine Roe Buck territory. I am always looking for new friends though

Weidmanssheil on a successful hunt! Looks like you had lots of fun.

Well done,
I was down in Wiltshire last weekend trying for some cull bucks, the ones we saw were all too good. The best was a big 4-5 year old, which had seven points.
Who is it you use for the stalking?

That's an interesting head.
I might be a bit closer to you before long. I'll be moving to Middlewich later this summer in an attempt to cut down on the expense and time involved with commuting into Manchester.
How are you getting on with your 7mm?
Best wishes
