Claret_DabblerKahles Helia L
Guys, posted this in optics yesterday. No comments there. Maybe some here can offer an opinion.
Local gunshop has a Kahles 1.5-6x42 Helia L scope in stock. Took in a trade-in.
Scope is in pretty good condition 85-90%.
Anybody know how old this might be? Comments on quality etc compared to other German scope would be appreciated.
Any idea as to a fair price for this?
Regards
Brian

griffclater dabbler,
If its anything like my Kahles it is second to NONE in quality.
As to value thats entirely up to you, what you think is a fair price.

reindeerKahles, as good as and no better than Zeiss or Schmidt&Bender; so a really high end scope that leaves nothing to wish for.
Over here in Europe it would do about $450 it is in a mint condition

Claret_DabblerWent back to buy this scope on Saturday.
Unfortunately, someone with more brains than me bought it on Friday night for £295.
Repeat after me: I am a plonker...
