Upon a closer look, I would say you got your self a tuskless, a PAC perhaps?
Otherwise, an impressive trophy picture

Yes it's my take on what the well dressed elephant hunter is wearing this season.
Tell me about the razor theft thing, it's shocking the police aren't more pro-active!
I gave them a description; black, 6 foot 9, red hair, sideburns, blue eyes and a limp; but so far they claim to have no leads!

Looks like the beard stays bushy and the country goes down the pan.......

Why didn't I think of that?
It is a bloody problem mate, it's in the bloody hall way.........

Women!
Can't live with them, anatomically impossible to get, erm, satisfaction without them....

Hello mate!
How are you?
I sent you a pm just before Christmas, did you get it?
It's half scale, made of fibreglass and more precious to my girlfriend than anything else on God' Green Albion.
I've named it "Stampy".

450/400Hello!! I did not get your PM. I wish I had, so send it again! I am doing well and so is the family. Ginger and I are going hunting again in August. Unfortunately, we can't fly American thru London with guns, otherwise we'd be stopping for a visit. We go thru Frankfurt this time and then directly on to Windhoek.
How are you? I've been following your hunting exploits and we both enjoy reading your reports. They are both very thorough and enjoyable.

Trapper DaveIts eyes look disproportionately large.
Has it caught Mxyomatosis?
Definitely a white elephant in every sense of the word tho...........and I worry about her loving it more than you

PS: You haven't privately nicknamed it Alice have you?

BoghossianHoly shit I need to see this in the, um, flesh.
You could add some finger painting showing the ideal side and frontal brain shots.

No mate, it's a very tight fit in the hallway.

The elephant was painted and auctioned off for charity a little while Arlid.
Check this link out and see if you identify the one I had a little influence on...

In deference to the 2 1/2" chambers, naught but a full ounce and a quarter of no. 3s sir!
23 February 2011, 21:42
Stu CI wonder if it was this one -
or maybe this one -
I think it's brilliant!
23 February 2011, 23:05
Arild IversenIt must be the one with the "aiming points"

(Although I think you got that brain shot a thad high Amir)
The picture of you with your "double" and the ele in the hallway, is a masterpice

Arild Iversen.
24 February 2011, 00:58
GhubertGot it in one Arlid!

If my "double" isn't quite entirely kosher, I did get one with the rifle but it didn't seem quite as "right" if you know what I mean....
Peter, help!
Stu,
WTF man, "you stole my heart"?!?!!
How could you think I had anything to do with that man, it's the one with the bleddy targets dude.....
25 February 2011, 12:44
AndersAmir,
Is it because you stalked it bare-footed that you managed to get so close?

Quite so, yes.
The Camouflage trousers helped immensely also, and despite the tittering from the stalls, the beard helps cover up the pink and aids the final approach.
All of that paled into insignificance however, compared to the logistics of sneaking the rifle out and getting the photo without getting caught by the memsahib.
Aside from the photo, which I have admittedly posted on the internet, there is no physical evidence linking me with that beautiful piece of work.
Aside from the photograph on the internet, I realise....
26 February 2011, 14:03
Trapper DaveI'm sure that the young lady would have been far more upset if you'd laid the elephant on its side and posed triumphantly with one foot upon its bod.
I shudder to think what sort of trophy fees she might have charged!

WinkelmeisterSmooth looking PAC. I need 2 for my crib.
Waidmannsheil!
24 March 2011, 00:23
GhubertHey Winkelmeister!!!!
How are you buddy?
May I recommend against this particular brand of hallway accoutrement, it's a little unwieldy and I caught the girlfriend cooing to it more than once....

Next step pet elephant, I'm telling you......
24 March 2011, 18:45
Fallow BuckWhich one of the two "accouterments" was she cooing at?
