peterdki must be ready for a mental institution
i got up at 5:30 looked at the temp that said -20, got into my hunting clothes, and drove to the adress that i was given by my friend inviting me to this last shoot of the year.
arriving at 8:30 the temp was all of -18 and ice fog.
it was one of the most beautyful days i have seen in a long time, and i just wanted to share it with you.
the point is: get dressed and head out and enjoy even if polar bears are heading for cover because of the weather.
best
peter

calgarychef1If you're dressed for it there's magic in the cold air of winter.

DB BillPeter --- living in Southern California -4 degrees Fahrenheit is a bit brisk but "back in the old days when ..." I can remember hunting moose when it was -40 degrees Fahrenheit. I can also remember how hard is was to butcher the animal on the ground.
Now those were the days.
