Re: Chiller.
This topic was discussed sort of recently. Someone brought up modifying a window unit A/C for your cooling needs. Once your box is constructed of course.

If you were here in the US, I could sell you some of the panels to make the box. I have quite a few ... I dismantled a 10x46 foot freezer/fridge from a restaurant that went out of business.

Fallow Buck,

It all depends if you are willing to spend!
Most chiller rooms I have seen are assembled from panels and are modular...so even a larger chiller can usually be made smaller, if room is a consideration.

Jaeger Sport were offering an "oversize fridge" at one time...it was aprrox 2'x 2'x 6' if I remember correctly and was very expensive too...

Oherwise its a case of looking around for a used one as already suggested.

Pete

Don't know if this will be of help but a mate of mine managed to get a 2nd hand chiller cabinet from a company that refurbs petrol stations. The chiller is a glass double door type that was used to store cold drinks. He just took the shelves out.

There is a wide choice of chillers in Germany.
In France a guy next door began to sell chillers 6 monthes ago, full success all over France.
My relationship with him is variable (politics You know!) but I can ask him for the shipping costs concerning one or a lorryful delivery, and a price reduction. Ask for a catalog.

Hi guys,

A few of yu have mentioned small chillers in the past which would fit 2-3 fallow carcasses. does anyone know where I might be able to get hold of one? My Current chiller is at a mates about 30mins in the wrong direction from home. Ideally I want to run a small one in the garage to store animals in. It also means I can cut up at home as opposed to having to go south each time.

Any help would be great, although I'm sure I'm not the first in the queue!! < !--color-->
