sourcing permethrin
Hi all! I'm looking for a UK source of permethrin hopefully above 10% to treat clothes against insects. Don't worry I'll dilute it properly. I know it's used a lot by the cattle industry but I'll be damned if I can find any in the UK....except in small tourist bottles. I have a bunch of clothes to treat and it will take lot of said bottles to do the job.

thanks

Adam, you're a saint! I spent about 2 hours in an "online fog" today looking for that stuff.

Chef.

I have been using the life systems spray available from amazon. Not sure of the strength though.

I read about the life systems spray but it sounds like it washes out a bit faster than the old soaking method.

Kind of scary stuff but sometimes what you can get from insects is worse than what you can get from chemicals. Some recent studies about permethrin and neurological diseases that sound a bit ominous though.

You're Canadian, so it's not as if the Permethrin is going to make the situation any worse genetically speaking... stir dancing

The weight of medical evidence for diseases such as Lyme and Rickettsia is far more robust than that for side effects from Permethrin.

That's not to say its sqeaky clean but the risk is lower.
