panzerguyJagd style in Germany
When I was in Germany, a decade and a half ago, it was fairly stylish to wear suits styled in the Jagd style. Antler buttons, colors of grey and green, loden wool and even some light cotton suits.
Now that I'm going to be back in Germany, and will be required to wear fairly nice clothes, is their still an acceptable "Jagd" style?
Nikudu's post has set me off to thinking.
What you describe sounds like dress for "formal" occasions - such as dinner. If that is what you are asking about, then yes, that style of clothing is quite commonly used.

panzerguyExcellent! I've always wanted an excuse to purchase and wear something like that.
I think you had best get a set of dark green wool or micro-fiber pants and a wool or micro-fiber jacket from Laksen, Rascher, Blaser, Beretta, Browning, Harkila, FjallRaven, Deerhunter, or Seeland for Fall and Winter hunts.
Of course some dark green cotton mole-skins trousers and some dark green shirts for the summer.
Not an expert just what I have seen.
It seems that the sub-continents of Iberia and the UK are very different, but that's just the way it is.
