Re: Thoughts on a Meopta 2000 4x32mm scope
The length of the eye relief is good news, since my experience of the larger Meopta scopes is a very bad eye relief.

I was also looking at the 2-9x42 for my .338 Win Mag, but decided against it because of the eye relief. The 338 kicks a little bit too much for a short eye relief.

I found a seconhand Kahles Helia series L in 2.2-9x42 for about the same money as a new Meopta. I think in general that I should prefer a secondhand Helia rather than a new Meopta, but I am glad you are pleased with it.

If I remember correctly, HerrBerg of this forum has an illuminated Meopta he is very pleased with, but he agrees about the eye relief being short.

Martin
