Heym SR20
Ok seriously this time, I need help!!
What about a kipplauf, or modern rendition of the rook rifle is 6x70r if cost was no object. Alternatively Dicksons in Edinburgh had a beautiful martini actioned rifle in a rimmed 22cf that weighed about 5lbs.

Found my 6 PPC USA load development target

Perhaps this will help you to make up your mind ? Shot on bipod with 20x scope

It has a paper thin #1 contour hence 03 shots before it goes into PMT mode ......

I have since changed to burning XBR (NOT the old thunderbird)

It will shoot as tight as anythnig but with ES under 5

Again 3 tight shots then it throws a tantrum ......

Weighs 6.25 pounds plus scope

Cases are from 4 sources kindly donated by members like 1894 mk2 and others soi have no idea how old they are.

Buy a PPC if you have a chance

It's going be the most boring gun in your cabinet

Thanks KR and 1894MK2 for the guidance

Wouldn't have done it without you folks

Onto the next toy .........

Ditto what Ben said. Find yourself a Sako PPC and stick to it. If you've ever seen any of Riflecrafts early literature then the rifle with the camo mcmillan varmint is Andrews own A1 6MM ppc with a Krieger barrel. He couldn't bring himself to screwcut it as it shot so damn well unmoderated.

My own is a 75 vls and I wouldn't like to climb over the heap of things I've shot with it.

Seriously. This is what you need to cure the itch.

Regards

This one was stolen from my 3. years ago and I got a call from the polis yesterday that they found him on a raid they did on some drug dealer's house , it's a SAKO Riihimaki cal 222. His place is ready, right next to my others Sako´s

Great news Solvi,

I am hoping for that the rifle is still in decent condition as it is being returned to you.
