My reviermeister used to use 9.3 on everything. He even had a reh load for it. I will attest that it did little damage to the meat. Oh, yeah, he was shooting out of a pre-war Suhl drilling.

Yeah, those slowish 9.3s are surprisingly suitable for light animals like roe. One would think the opposite because of the bullet diameter, but they work really well on roe - little meat damage.
