Hi european Members,
just want to bring my report from my hunting trip to belarus to your attention.
I have visited most european countries but belarus fascinated me very much. It is a very nice original country and a underrated hunting destination.

BoghossianGreat - thanks for sharing your report. It looks like a fun hunt! Did you see any other game? Also - what rifle/calibre did you use?

CaracalHi,
yes it was a very good hunt!
I saw a few roedeer and some pigs. I saw some tracks of some hughe boars (i guess +150kg) and we heard the wolfs calling at night.
Game density is low, i think because of lynx and wolf.
I used a zastava rifle in caliber .30-06 and barnesX ammo.

Hi Diego!
Much of Belarus (formerly the Belorussian Soviet Socialist Republic of the USSR, and then Byelorussia) is a hilly lowland with forests, swamps, and numerous rivers and lakes. There are wide rivers emptying into the Baltic and Black seas. Its forests cover over one-third of the land and its peat marshes are a valuable natural resource. The largest lake is Narach, 31 sq mi (79.6 sq km).
One of the major important factors of high-quality hunting in Belarus is the vast range of the Byelorussian land, about 35 percent of which is covered by mature forests. Besides, boundless meadows, tons of clean lakes, and unique marshes are all contributing to satisfy the most demanding hunter.
Among wild animals, Aurochs - European bison (Wisent) is actually a symbol of Belarus. These extremely rare species can be found in some National Parks (Beloveja, Pripajtsky). However, Aurochs hunting is allowed and is one of the most exciting Byelorussian hunting challenges.
Regarding to big hunt, we can propose elk, red deer, roe deer, wild boar and wolf. Belarusian wild boar is known by its remarkable tusks dimensions: just imagine a hunter joy and fun when his trophy collection is enriched by tusks of 210-290 mm (10 inches and more).
Wolf hunting is evaluated by many people as a big challenge that requires quite a courage . The wolf hunting is possible from November or December. An elk hunting is permitted from September to November, a red deer - from September to January; a roe deer - in summer and autumn, while the beautiful Belarusian wild boar - from May till January, thereby our fertile forests welcome hunters all the year round.
With respect to bird hunting, there many options: turtle doves, ring-doves, ducks, woodcocks, geese, snipes and partridges.
The hunting seasons for various animals are as follows:
-Wisent
- Elk/Moos
(from September to December)
- Deer (from September to January)
- Wild boar - (from January to December)
- Roe-deer (from May to November)
- Wolf (from January to December)
- Capercailye (April)
- Wood-grouse (April)
- Black cock (April, from August to September)
- Grey partridge (from August to October)
- Woodcock (April, from September to October)
- Hazel-hen (from September to October)
- Duck (April, from August to November)
- Goose (April, from August to November)

Hi,
the prices are 1100€ for 5days hunting, 6 nights accomodation, food, transport, airport pickup, all paperwork etc.
Trophy fee is 1100 for a medium size moose with 6kg, like the bull I shot.
Wild boars are very cheap in this area and they are hughe (+150kg), price is 660€ for a boar wih 20cm tusks.
You can also hunt Wolf and Roe deer. In another area there is very affordable red stag hunting.
Flights are around 300-400€ from germany. Visa is 60€.
I think it is a good value hunt and a great experience.
Contact Ingor Kancev (profyhunter) if you need more infos.
Best Regards
Dennis
