I can't comment on sporting goods stores but I can tell you the beer at St. Sixtus Abbey is rated the best in the world and I concurr!! So if you're in Belgium.....

Yep, and there is a great Italian on the north west corner of he grande place that I used to go to when I worked there. They have about thirty grappas in stock if you like that kind of thing.

Watch out for the trappiste beers as they are lethaly alcoholic.

Not really in my experience.

If you have access to a car, the Central African museum in Tervuren (just outside Brussels) is well worth a visit. Plenty of trophy African game.

Yes, there are some very good, long established gunshops in Brussels. And also in Antwerp.

But...I can't remember them. Sorry! However a search "armurerie anvers" and "armurerie bruxelles" will find them.

I was in Brussels and I had great time visiting Jan Bliki he deals in best guns and is located in village called Lede near Ghent lovely shop will be 30 mins from Brussels but worth a visit.
