DB BillI want to try a driven boar shoot!
I don't live in Europe (actually I live in Southern California) & I've been trying, without any luck, to do a driven boar hunt. I almost made the AR hunt but had hip replacement instead. For the past two year's I've been trying to organize some of my hunting friend's for a trip but no luck.
I'd like to try it and I figure if I'm going to fly to Europe I might as well do two shoots on back-to-back weekends with some sightseeing in between. Basically I need to find an outfitter/booking agent (or a group(s) willing to take a chance on me) who can fit me into a group on consecutive week-ends -- doesn't even need to be in the same country but I want shoots with some action - don't want to make the trip and spend two week-ends looking at trees.
I'd also like a fee structure where I don't need to worry about breaking the bank if I'm fortunate enough to shoot a big boar.
Any help would be appreciated and as I'm retired, my schedule is flexible except for early October when I'll be hunting white-tailed deer -- and not around Christmas & I don't expect or need luxury accomodations.
It would also be great if some other "non-European" members of AR could get together as a group to do a shoot or two.

Fallow BuckBill there are a bunch of hunts in the diary this year already for driven boar and Monterias. We try to go with he no trophy fee option where possible to keep the costs without surprises!!
mail Adam at Adam@athinahuntingtours.com & he can send you the confirmed to date schedule.
Pinky and some friends are doing a mixed driven hunt with us in Portugal this year so perhaps you could joint them and make up the numbers.
