impala#03I may be going to SCI, do not know yet. My wife wants to go to the SHOT Show. Both shows are in January or February.

Fallow BuckJust confirmed my booths at DSC and will probably show up at SCI too as a spectator.
If you need help on flights let me know as we have a Virgin Atlantic account.

Artemis1I wish I could but at that time normally I am too busy with my hunts.

dorsethunterWell I think I shall go just for a couple of days as a spectator.
It all costs a bit but the experience will be worth it and want to see some old friends too..

Best advice I was given 07 years ago was
Never to attend such functions as a punter.
I was just starting out and did not understand why
Instaed I shot so many more T O N N A G E of
game from the money I saved
If you are a serious hunter the offers will come
Don't waste you money
Like those attedning a F1 race
Makes one feels better but won't make you a
better or more consistant driver
or getting laid by a pit dolly

Fallow BuckDorset,
Just my 2cents, but I think Dallas is a much more social show than the Vegas SCI. It is also significantly cheaper as they don't hit you with big entry costs and obligatory membership.
It can come to a heap of cash just to get in, which isn't made clear by SCI in advance. Even still if you are happy to spend I, you will se a show that will be like nothing you have seen before.
We stayed at he Excalibur which is cheap and comfortable and has a team straights to convention.

damn good advice. i attended the SCI convention for 15 years, then dropped my membership over their ethics committee fuck ups. i started going to Dallas instead. same outfitters( without so many furriers, jewelers, furniture makers, etc) - AND A LOT CHEAPER VENUE. LV costs a fortune in unexpected expenses- for example, cab rides, tips to anyone and everyone, admission expense, etc.....go to Dallas- you will see the same people and spend less.

Fallow BuckAnd you have the Dallas fish market up the Road if you like seafood restaurants.
We have a booth with Athina and Hoxleigh, so I'm sure there will be some refreshment available.
