Andre MertensThis is not a Red deer stag. I believe it to be a Siberian Roebuck.

Jeff SullivanWOW! The only thing I know about Roedeer is what I have learned on this board, but that looks like a MONSTER to my untrained eyes.

It's just a normal european roe but with big antlers

It was hit by the bus a couple of miles from where I live.

Andre MertensThis is a Red deer stag (cervus elaphus). The difference in size (180-250 kg live weight) and antlers is evident.
The common European Roedeer (capreolus capreolus), has a live weight of 20-25 kg. However, the Siberian subspecies (capreolus pygargus) grows much bigger in size and antlers. It's goes up to 50 kg+.
