Big red deer buck
this buck was not shot but killed by the bus last year here in norway!!it is 10 points over the Norwegian record and lars kofoed have done the taxidermy www.jakt-utstopping.no

This is not a Red deer stag. I believe it to be a Siberian Roebuck.

and when i say it is a red deer stag i mean it!!(roedeer)i even have the norwegian police statement that it was hidt by the bus here in Norway and it was delivered at my brothers workshop by the local police!so there is no smelly abut thos story Wink

It's just a normal european roe but with big antlers Smiler It was hit by the bus a couple of miles from where I live.

This is a Red deer stag (cervus elaphus). The difference in size (180-250 kg live weight) and antlers is evident.

The common European Roedeer (capreolus capreolus), has a live weight of 20-25 kg. However, the Siberian subspecies (capreolus pygargus) grows much bigger in size and antlers. It's goes up to 50 kg+.

I have hunted both europian roedeer and sibiran and yes the sibiran is muschh bigger but this is a europian one (wery well dokumented)and yes i know what a red deer is! here i live we shoot about 950 every year! it was the spelling that fooled you andre Winksorry this roedeer was mesured to be 214,5 points here in Norway.
