Re: What mounts do "eurpeans" use for SAKO rifles
Hi Sako75,

As for Germany and Austria, I recon the most common mount is detachable EAW mounts (http://www.eaw.de). Recknagl (http://www.recknagel.de/) is offering the ERA mounts which are similar to EAW and also quite common.

Warnes. It's about time that Tally pulled there finger out and made a ring that fitted on the dovetail - they would clean up just about every sako mount in the US!

Quick Release Optilocks they have an excellent return to zero

The only difference between the QR and the ordinary Optilocks are he screw. You can change scopes with ordinary Optilocks and have the same return to zero as with the QR mounts!

That particular QR screw, in relation to it's manufacturing costs, must be one of the most expensive gunparts ever made.
