AJN HuntingHunting in Europe
AR Members,
I would like some ideas regarding a hunting trip for the later end of 2012.
What are your guys thoughts and experiences?
I have been lucky enough to shoot Capra in Spain so thats been ticked off the list.
I am tempted by Sweden or Norway but would be interested in your thoughts. Possibly Eastern Europe.
A trip that could include multiple species would be ideal.
I have plans for a driven hunt in either Poland or Spain so that is covered more looking for something along the stalking lines.
I look forward to hearing your responses.
Happy New Year
Alex

huntingineuropeI would suggest a trip to Romania,

Here is an opportunity for a quiet hunting from a high seat, or a more challenging walk in the mountains after Chamois.

I see that you have access to hunting grounds "Sveti Juraj" and "Jablanac"

and can only give my recommendation for a great area for hunting Mouflon and Chamois.

Artemis1Thank you a lot.
I know you've been there.
It is one of my favourite grounds.
You can check my short video on youtube "Long range in Croatia". It is not the best video you saw but it's real without playing in studio.
Cheers

NorwegianwoodsIf you are willing to travel a bit between 2 hunts and late August is not to early in the year for you, then I think starting in Norway on a Reindeer hunt(starts August 20) and then travel to Sweden to hunt Capercaillie and Black Grouse(starts August 25), will be a great experience and something different if you enjoy hunting both deer and birds

vegard_dino+1 Norwegianwoods.
Come to Norway, do some great stalks in the mountains for Reindeer. In some areas, you can do a combination of moose and reindeer to.
The moose hunt starts the 26th of September, the reindeer goes to the end of september.
