Just thought it was worth mentioning that I have been very impressed with Leica's aftersales service.
I sent my 8 x 42 Geovids in to be repaired as one of the dioptre compensation rings no longer rotated (not sure why, but anyway). After them telling me turn around would be 2-4 weeks which I found perfectly acceptable, they arrived exactly a week to the day I sent them in as new condition with lenses spotless etc.
I have found Swarovski to be the same with regards to service and both firms seem to have a high standard in this dept.
I am going to send an email of thanks to Leice but thought it was worth posting on AR too.
